Deleting your account
Updated: 2026-07-29
This page explains how to delete your Guli account and what happens to your data. Deletion is free and you do not need to install the app to request it.
1. Delete it yourself, in a minute
This is the fastest route and needs no confirmation from us.
- In the app: “My profile” → scroll to the bottom → “Delete account” → confirm.
- In a browser: open myguli.ge, sign in, go to “My profile” → “Delete account”.
2. If you can no longer sign in
Message us on Telegram @irakli_2014 and tell us which account to delete — the phone number, email address or Telegram username you registered with.
Before deleting we will ask a few questions to confirm the account is really yours; otherwise anyone could delete someone else's profile. We handle requests within 30 days.
3. What gets deleted
Deletion is permanent — your profile, photos and messages cannot be restored. You can always sign up again, but with a fresh account.
- your profile: name, age, city, text about yourself and every field you filled in;
- all photos and your verification selfie — the files themselves, not just the links;
- likes, matches and all your messages;
- profile-view history, reports and blocks;
- support conversations and purchase history;
- the account itself: email, phone and the Telegram link.
4. What may remain
- backups and technical logs roll over gradually, so full removal can take up to 30 days;
- payment records held by Telegram, Apple and Google — those are outside our control and follow their own rules.
5. If you would rather not delete
If you just need a break, you can hide your profile instead: the /pause command in the bot, or “Hide profile” in your profile. Your account and messages stay put, you simply stop appearing in the deck. Come back with /resume.
